HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Printer

I recently just purchased and enrolled in HP Instant Ink for my hp desket 4155e printer. Now I have an exclamation point showing on the screen and a steady orange light next to the 'i' on the screen. I have internet access and I can print but the exclamation point and steady orange light never go away. I have tried unplugging the plug from the power strip and the power cord from the back of the printer. No change. I've done a printer align tried to run diagnostic and couldn't. What's going on?

Follow these steps to fix the issue:-

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor to fix connectivity and printing issues.

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.

  • Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
  • Once HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Start, and then select your printer.
  • If your printer is not in the list, turn it off and on, and then click Retry.
  • If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  • If a screen prompts you to turn on printer updates, click Yes.
  • If a screen prompts you to make your printer the default printer, click Yes.
  • Try to print

Update the printer firmware to install the latest updates
