Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I reset the printer to factory defaults and know this erases the Instant Ink data, but not finding explicit instructions on how to register it again

After speaking to HP Agent the solution was pretty simple.
as the printer is connected to the computer via USB cable and HP smart installed on the computer, I followed the bleow instructions:

Please click on printer image on Hp smart app. Then click to advanced settings. That will take you to printer EWS page.

Please open EWS (Embedded Web Server) page with HP Smart app
1 From the app home screen, select your printer name or image.
2 Scroll down the list of settings to select Advanced Settings or Printer Home Page (EWS).
3 If a login or certificate window displays, complete the information to finish opening the EWS.
4 If a website security certificate displays, click Continue to open the printer homepage.
5 If a login window opens, type admin for the username, and then type the PIN found on the label located underneath or on the back of the printer, or the password set by the printer administrator.

So basically the problem was that after the Printer reset to factory settings, the Web Services was disconnected and simply required reconnecting.
