Hello, I enrolled in instant ink and every time I try and connect it to my printer I receive error code GSS001. I’m not sure what the issue is

The error code GSS001 on your HP ENVY 6055e All-in-One Printer typically indicates a problem with the Instant Ink enrollment process. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue.

 

Check Internet Connection:

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. You can check the network status on the printer's control panel or by printing a network configuration page.

Verify HP Account Credentials:

  • Make sure that you are using the correct HP account credentials for the Instant Ink enrollment. You can log into your account on the HP Instant Ink website to verify your details.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can do this through the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel. If an update is available, install it.

Re-enroll in Instant Ink:

  • Try to unenroll and then re-enroll in the Instant Ink program:
    • Open the HP Smart app and select your printer.
    • Go to the “Instant Ink” section and choose the option to unenroll.
    • Once unenrolled, restart your printer and then re-enroll in the Instant Ink program.

Reset the Printer:

  • Resetting the printer can help resolve various issues:
