Trying to get set up for instant ink however it keeps saying it can’t connect to the printer !! I have done all of the suggested trouble shooting

If you're having difficulties connecting your printer to HP Instant Ink after following standard troubleshooting steps, here are some additional suggestions you might try:

Verify Network Connection:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device.
  • Restart your router and reconnect your printer to the network.

Ensure HP Smart App is Updated:

  • Make sure the HP Smart App is updated to the latest version on your device.

Check for Printer Updates:

  • Access your printer's settings to check for any available firmware updates. Updating may resolve connectivity issues.

Factory Reset the Printer:

  • As a last resort, perform a factory reset on your printer. Check the printer manual for instructions specific to your model.

Re-attempt Instant Ink Connection:

  • Log into your HP Instant Ink account and follow the connection instructions carefully. Make sure all details such as ink levels, printer settings, and network connections are verified.

Use Mobile Device:

  • If you haven’t tried yet, use a mobile device to connect through the HP Smart App. Scanning the QR code provided during setup might provide an easier connection path.
