After many hours, and trying everything suggested, the problem was fixed. I am subscribed to Instant Ink. This past week I attempted to print, but job repeatedly became stuck. When canceled, and printing tried again, got "Another job is in progress. Try again later." I tried just about everything, including turning of WiFi, clearing queues, 60 sec power plug restart, etc. Problem occurred whether sent from a Windows laptop, or from an iPhone.
The printer had always given a message to replace an empty cartridge, but did not this past week. Removing and reinserting the ink cartridges did not work. However, when I put in all new cartridges, printer now works fine. I only use HP Instant Ink cartridges. In the past, the HP always told me to replace a cartridge, but did not this past week.

Hello @lightrayb, Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for returning to the HP Support Community and sharing the resolution. The detail that your HP Officejet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer resumed normal printing immediately after replacing the HP Instant Ink cartridges is particularly helpful.
We acknowledge that the printer did not display the usual cartridge replacement or empty-cartridge notification this time. Instead, print jobs remained stuck and displayed “Another job is in progress. Try again later.” This made the issue appear to be related to the print queue, Wi-Fi connection, or software rather than the cartridges.
Since you had already:
- Cleared the print queues.
- Performed a 60-second power reset.
- Tested with Wi-Fi changes.
- Tried printing from both a Windows computer and an iPhone.
- Removed and reseated the existing HP Instant Ink cartridges.
and the issue was ultimately resolved only after installing new HP Instant Ink cartridges, the cartridge condition appears to have been the key factor in this instance.
We appreciate you documenting the solution. This information can be valuable to other HP Officejet Pro and Instant Ink users who encounter a similar “Another job is in progress” condition without receiving the expected low-ink or replace-cartridge notification.
Please continue using the printer normally, and if the same behavior returns with the new cartridges, let us know so we can investigate further without repeating the troubleshooting you have already completed.
Have a great day!
I'm an HP Employee.
