Dear HP Instant Ink Team,

I am currently undergoing intensive preparations for some upcoming Imperial College Year 3 exams which I will be sitting in w.b. 8th of August.

The preparatory process involves a marked surge in my printing to print out past paper questions, workshop questions, revision daily schedules and model answers to practice.

I anticipate that this may mean that my printer ink cartridges may rapidly deplete over the next few days and this is concerning to me as I do not have any backup cartridges currently.

If possible it would be great if this risk can be controlled for - if I can be sent some colour and black ink instant inks cartridges with which to replace the current ones at short notice if they end up running empty.

The document here has information on contacting HP to get replacement Instant Ink cartridges.  Go to the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number (or chat option for some countries) will be listed in the lower center of the opening screen.  For the UK the support number is also listed near the top of the document here, shortly after the address.   Calling and speaking directly to an agent is likely the best option.

Alternately, you can click on the Virtual Assistant.  When the assistant opens type "Where is my ink?" (w/o the quotes).  The system will ask a few questions and then schedule your shipment.

One more thought - until you have the replacement cartridges in hand you might consider printing in Draft mode.  This will use about half the ink of normal or best modes, while still providing very good print quality.
