I have a HP 6978 printer. When I select the pause option, a message appears that I can print up to 10 pages per month without charge.  There is no mention of being able to use my rollover pages.  If I exceed 10 pages in a month during the pause period, will my rollover pages be used before I am charged $1 for a set of 10 additional pages?  Can I cancel the pause to restart instant ink subscription sooner than the selected pause duration? If an ink cartridge runs low, will HP send a replacement cartridge during the pause period? After a pause period ends, how long must I wait until I do another pause?

Hi @cahhifl,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are looking for information on how to use the rollover pages.

If you do not use all your plan pages in a month, the unused pages will be kept in your account as rollover pages. You can continue to roll over up to three times the number of pages in your monthly plan (for example, you can roll over up to 150 pages if you are enrolled in a 50 page plan).

The “Pause” feature is offered on a limited basis in select countries, including in UK, France, Germany, and North America, to customers based on criteria which are current plan, printing level, page limit, printer, age of printer, and number of shipments per year. “Pause” will be available only to those customers with no free months remaining and not currently on a premium plan who select “cancelling temporarily” as their cancellation reason. Such customers may be offered a temporary pause of one month to three months. The “Pause” shall begin on the next billing cycle after selection. Customers may use this “Pause” option at most two times a year.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
