HP DeskJet 2722 All-in-One Printer

My HP Deskjet 2722 All-in-one cannot connect to web services.

Printer is online and ready but does not print.

Errors on printer: non-blinking red light colours and button continue, blinking red light on information button, non-blinking blue light on wifi

Blinking on screen: exclamation point (!), envelope with drop, both ink cartridge icons

 

Web Services Error:

The printer could not connect to Web Services.

Web Services might be busy or temporarily unavailable. Try again later.

 

Troubleshooting performed so far:

  • factory reset on the printer,
  • printer is plugged in the wall socket,
  • instank ink is paid and active,
  • cartridges are the original sent through instantink subscription,
  • printer firmware is updated
  • tried 3 different devices
  • tried printing network info page, says printer is busy (there is no document waiting to print)

I understand how frustrating it is when your printer won’t connect to Web Services despite all your troubleshooting efforts. It’s especially difficult when everything seems set up correctly, but the issue persists.

 

Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved.

 

Check the connection

Make sure your network is working and the printer is connected.
