I've seen lots of posts about customers being unable to access the 6 months free instant ink offer and all the replies state a code is not needed. When I am trying to sign up it is definitely asking me for a code. I've tried the Serial No, Printer Pin no. and Printer Code - none applicable. Please can someone help - I bought the printer today and need to sign up by the end of the week. Thank you

Could you send me an image of the promotional offer(box or the leaflet that came with the printer)?

Hello Jay_G24, thank you for coming back to me and sorry for delay responding.

Actually I managed to work out the problem. When the offer comes up it does ask for a PIN number which I thought was needed to secure the offer but it isn't. I gave up after several hours and thought "Oh just pay for it and battle it out later", but when it all went through without a Pin No. the offer came up fine and was clearly showing on the account. I think the wording on that page is a bit misleading for customers in truth as so many seem to be caught out by it and I think the pin number relates to other independent offers on top of the free ink trial.

 

Anyway all sorted! Hope this helps others with similar issues
