When I cancel Instant Ink, returning full cartridges, how do I know HP got them and won't charge me?

I recently cancelled my Instant Ink subscription and have some empty and some full cartridges to return. 

Where should I send the full ones?

They don't all fit into the HP-supplied bag.  Does this mean that I have to pay to ship them? 

How do I make sure that HP doesn't charge me for the full ones I return? 
What. happens if HP doesn't think I've returned all the full ones? 
How long do I have to get the empty and full ones back to HP?

The good news -- HP is not going to chase you down for Instant Ink / Subscription cartridges.

Not now - not later.  There are no ink police.

HP does want the cartridges back and provides the means for you to return your cartridges without charge.

The cartridges are useless outside of your subscription -- HP accepts the cartridges for proper disposal.
