Hi,
I received my first set of replacement Instant Ink cartridges a few weeks ago and the instructions say not to change them until the printer tells me to. How does it do that?

Hi Rainbow23,
Unfortunately there was nothing in the FAQs that answered my question about how the printer tells me when it is time to change the printer cartridge(s). The instructions that came with the new printer cartridges said to wait until the printer tells me it's time to change them. I was expecting some sort of indication on the display but there isn't.

Hi Rainbow23,
But when will I know when the cartridge(s) are empty? Do I have to wait until it stops printing clearly? What if I'm printing 100 copies and the ink runs out half-way through?
Shouldn't there be some sort of indication from the printer when to change the cartridge(s)?

Hi @Stuthehandyman,
The printer will give an error message on the computer connected to the printer that the cartridge is empty.
