The USB port on the HP OfficeJet Pro 9720e printer is typically located in one of the following places.

• Back of the printer: Look at the rear panel. You should find a square-shaped USB Type-B port (the smaller, square port for connecting the printer to a computer).
• Side or underneath a flap at the back: On some models, the USB port may be hidden under a flap or recessed near the rear corner of the printer.

Make sure you're using the correct cable: a USB Type-A to USB Type-B cable. If you’re having trouble locating it, the user manual might have diagrams showing its exact placement.
