HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer

I have the ink cartridge subscription which comes with 10 pages a month.  I may not print for 2 months and right now I'm printing about 40 pages which I will be charged for.  Why can't unused pages be forwarded to the next month?

Hi @Puppeg,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

The HP Instant Ink program typically allows for a certain number of unused pages to roll over to the next month, but it might depend on the specific plan and terms you are subscribed to. Here are a few steps to better understand and manage your HP Instant Ink plan:

Understanding HP Instant Ink Rollovers

  1. Check Your Plan Details:
    • Log in to your HP Instant Ink account and review the details of your subscription plan. This will provide information on how many pages are included each month and the rollover policy for unused pages.
  2. Rollover Pages Policy:
    • Most HP Instant Ink plans allow unused pages to roll over to the next month. However, the number of pages that can roll over is typically capped at a certain amount (usually equal to the monthly page limit). For example, if you have a plan with 10 pages per month, you can roll over up to 10 unused pages.

Steps to Manage Your Instant Ink Plan

Review Your Usage:

  • Regularly check your printing usage and rollover pages in your HP Instant Ink account to ensure you are aware of your current status and avoid unexpected charges.

Adjust Your Plan:

  • If you consistently print more than your plan allows, consider upgrading to a higher plan that better matches your printing needs. Conversely, if you often print less, you might downgrade to a lower plan to save money.

If you believe your unused pages are not rolling over as they should or if you have any specific concerns, contact HP Instant Ink phone support for further assistance.
