Why my printer keep saying cartridge problem I keep taking oof and put it I back and nothing. Ya hat should I do

HP printer4520 all-in-one printer. message keeps saying problem with cartridge." Remove and reinstall problem cartridge. If this does not work install new cartridge" This keeps happening every time I print one A4 sheet. I have to remove and re-install and after trying this 3/4 times it will print one sheet. When it allows me to print the ink level is showing cartridge is a third full, then goes back to empty.

i went to put a new black ink cartridge in the printer and I slightly bumped it to the left and ever since it says that I need to change the cartridge.

Is there any physical damage on the printer or the ink cartridge?
