Wrong promotion code

HP Envy Photo 6220

I bought a HP Envy Photo 6220 printer last week from Argos with a promotional 12 months free instant ink. I couldn’t find the code and I have tried to contact yourselves and Argos several times with no success. I was given a code by Argos but it didn’t work. I still only had 4 months free. I am not happy with either service and am thinking of returning the printer as I feel it has been sold under false pretences
