I want to delete my HP account. I submitted a request to delete my data, but support claims there are multiple names registered to my email address. Support wants me to send them all the names. I have access to one account and one name I gave them. I don't know the rest. How can I get them?

Best regards, Anna

Hi @Anna5555,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you want to delete your HP account, but the request is blocked because HP says multiple names are linked to your email address. Let’s go through a few steps to help you move this forward.

Check for multiple HP accounts using the same email
Try signing in at HP’s account sign-in page and use the Forgot password option.
If more than one account exists, HP may show different profiles associated with that email.

Review old HP communications
Search your email inbox (and spam/junk folders) for past HP emails.
Look for different greetings or account names in older registration, support, or warranty emails.

Check HP services you may have used before
Think about whether the email was used for HP Support, HP Smart, Instant Ink, or older printer registrations.
Each service may have created a separate profile under the same email.

Respond to support with what you know
Reply to HP Support explaining that you only recognize one name and one account.
Clearly state that any additional names were not created or authorized by you.

Request identity-based verification instead of listing names
Ask HP Support to verify your identity using email ownership or account access, rather than unknown profile names.
They can internally review and consolidate or remove the extra records.

Ask for account consolidation or forced deletion
Request that HP merge or delete all profiles linked to your email address as part of the data-deletion request.
This is a standard step when duplicate profiles exist.

Keep the request tied to data-protection rights
Reconfirm that your request is for full data deletion associated with your email address, regardless of how many internal profiles exist.
HP can legally process deletion without you knowing internal profile names.

I hope this helps.
