To set up your new HP OfficeJet 8010 printer and connect it with your HP account, follow these step-by-step instructions:

Unbox Your Printer

1. Unbox the printer and remove all packing materials.
2. Plug in the printer and power it on.
    

Install Ink Cartridges and Load Paper

1. Install the ink cartridges provided with the printer.
2. Load paper into the paper tray.
    

Connect to a Wireless Network

1. On the printer control panel, select the network setup option.
2. Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password.
   Note: Make sure your printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network before proceeding.
    

Download and Install HP Software

1. Download HP Easy Start from 123.hp.com/setup.
2. Run the HP Easy Start application and follow the on-screen instructions to install the full software and drivers for your printer.

 

Register Your Printer with HP Connected

1. Go to HP Connected at HP Connected.
2. Create a new account or log in with your existing HP account.
3. Add your printer using the printer email address provided during the setup process:
   • Enable Web Services on the printer to get the email address.

 

Set Up HP ePrint (Optional)

1. Configure HP ePrint via Email by following the instructions in Set up HP ePrint via email.

 

Install Mobile Printing Solutions (Optional)

1. Download HP Smart App from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the app and add your printer by following the in-app instructions.

• Load regular or photo paper depending on your printing needs.
• Familiarize yourself with the printer settings using the control panel.
• Install any additional apps or software to enhance printing capabilities and ease of use.

By following these instructions, your new HP OfficeJet 8010 printer should be successfully set up, registered, and connected with your HP account.
