I cancelled before the end of the free trial. I was requested when I joined to use my own ink up first. I am still using the ink that came with the new printer so no instant ink has been in the printer. As the cartridges are my own ones still being used will I still be able to use them when the cancellation takes effect.
Thank you.

Hi @JohnatGC,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
You will not be able to use the cartridges after the cancellation, you will have to replace them with regular ink cartridges.
The ink cartridges that are in the printer are enrolled, hence will stop working after the cancellation.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi Jay, I appreciate your reply. I am disappointed that as you state, the regular Start up cartridges that came new with the printer before I even decided to sign up for Instant ink will not work once the cancel date takes effect. The Start up cartridges belong to me ( not Instant Ink ) and are still half full and still in the printer, no instant ink cartridges have been near my printer. Does this mean that while you are registered with Instant Ink, for some reason your replacement Instant Ink is delayed or lost in the post, you then run out of ink and buy new regular cartridges from a shop to enable to carry on with your printing, you then decide to cancel Instant Ink and your new cartridges that belong to you will no longer work ?

No, the cartridges in the printer are instant ink ready cartridges they are not regular ink cartridges.
When you use regular ink in between the plan , you will be able to store and use it again.
Keep me posted!
