I have cancelled my instant ink agreement and wish to purchase ink carteridges as and when I need in the open market.. Since cancellation, my printer keeps flashing lights and refuses to print although it does print the printer information page. so the issue is not lack of ink. How can this situation be remedied? I can't see any information on hp site but to register the printer! is it possible to make the printer print without going into a contractual agreement with hp to buy the ink?
Thank you in advance

The Instant Ink cartridges will not work after the subscription is terminated, you will need to replace the cartridges with retail cartridges.
When you sign up for the Instant Ink program you are NOT purchasing ink, you are purchasing a subscription to a set number of pages per month. The ink is supplied, but remains the property of HP and must be returned if you cancel the program in accordance with the terms of service. See sections 5.d and 9.c of the terms of service here.
