hp officejet pro 9010 trying to set up got as far as putting in the ink cartridges and closed the door panel and then error telling us to use the ones that came with printer and we are . unplugged waited sixty seconds no fix. please help

Dear Lovehomestead,
First, I would recommend checking that the ink cartridges that you are installing are labeled as "required for setup" on each cartridge. Only setup cartridges can be used when setting up the printer. Next, I would recommend watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ympn1r6oNik to make sure that the cartridges are installed correctly. For further issues, I would suggest contacting HP to check if your printer still has its limited warranty.
