I received four ink cartridges, one black and three color. I installed as normal. Now I have an orange triangle with an exclamation mark in it. Trying to figure this out it doesn't seen to be reading the color cartridges properly? I only say this because the black works, but it still has the orange triangle in the window of the printer. Am I doing something wrong?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you getting any error messages?
  • Have you tried with old ink or spare ink cartridges?

Follow these steps to print a self-test page.

Press the Power button () to turn on the product if it is not already on.

Press and hold the Cancel button () for three seconds.

Release the Cancel button (). The self-test page prints.

If the self-test report prints, there is no need to continue troubleshooting.
