Hi @Della2018

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I'd like to help you with your Instant Ink query.

Before you cancel, consider other plan options and be aware of what happens next. HP Instant Ink support has solutions for service and technical issues, and can explain other plan options that may better fit your needs.

If you cancel:

You will be able to keep printing with Instant Ink supplies until the end of your current billing cycle.

At the end of the current billing cycle, you will need to replace the Instant Ink supplies that you cancelled with traditional supplies from your favourite retailer in order to keep printing (Instant Ink ink and toner cartridges only function in enrolled printers).

Because Instant Ink bills at the end of each billing cycle you will still receive your final monthly charge, if applicable to your account.

If you have the Paper Add-on Service, it ends at the same time as your Instant Ink service.

To cancel:

1. Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account: https://instantink.hpconnected.com/subscriptions

2. Look for HP Smart at the top of the menu:

If you see HP Smart on your account page: Click HP Instant Ink then Update Plan in the left menu. Then, if you have more than one printer, make sure the printer you want to cancel is selected in the Select Printer box at the top of the screen. If you have more than one printer with the same model number, check by selecting Overview, then clicking Printer Details in the Status area to see the printer’s serial number.

If you do not see HP Smart on your account page: If you have more than one printer, make sure the printer you want to cancel is selected in the Select Printer box at the top of the screen. Then click My Account, then Account Settings.

3. Click Cancel my HP Instant Ink Subscription and follow the prompts.

4. Click the Keep Enrolment button if you change your mind. The button appears until the end of the current billing cycle.

You receive an email confirmation of your cancellation request immediately, and a second cancellation confirmation email at the end of the billing cycle when your cancellation is finalized.

After you cancel, you must finish the billing cycle.

Instant Ink does not prorate billing cycles if you decide to cancel.

If you cancel your Instant Ink service, you can print with Instant Ink cartridges until the end of the billing cycle.

At the end of the billing cycle, you receive your final bill and the Instant Ink cartridges stop working and should be returned to HP.

Please install store-bought HP original ink cartridge.

Subscription cartridges or generic (non-hp) cartridges will not function in your printer now that the service is cancelled.

If this solution hit the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
