I bought an Envy 5530 all in one printer second hand on Facebook marketplace. It has instant ink cartridges in it. I don't know the original owner of the printer who obviously enrolled in the instant ink program for the printer. Now I cannot print with it.
Are my options 1) to enroll in the instant ink program. If so, how do I go about doing that since I don't know the previous owner's information?
Or 2) can I purchase new genuine HP 61? ink cartridges and replace the ones currently in the printer that are enrolled in the instant ink program by someone else? I am okay with buying new cartridges if I know they will be usable but after reading some of the comments I'm not sure that the printer is usable at all? I don't want to waste money buying new cartridges if the printer is not going to work.
