@Micayla33, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

To assist you better, is the printer enrolled in Instant Ink?

Are you using Instant Ink cartridges in the printer?

If yes, the printer has to be connected to the internet. Check the connectivity.

Have you checked your HP Instant Ink account page? Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here.

If the suggested information can't be found, please send me a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

@Micayla33

I have received your message.

The printer is not enrolled in Instant Ink under the given email address. If the printer was enrolled before, it would be under the previous owner's email address.

Or, you may provide the serial number of the printer for assistance.

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.

Note: Provide this information only in a  private message.

Check if the ink cartridges you are using in the printer say "Instant Ink" on them. If yes, then this is a monthly subscription plan. You have to pay every month in order to print a set of pages.

For more info on Instant Ink, click here

If you do not wish to pay monthly, this subscription can be canceled. It has to be done by the previous owner as the printer is enrolled using the previous owner's email address.
