The box and the flyer inside the box said I got the six-month trial of Insta Ink but when I set up it’s only offering 2 months. I could not find a pin number

If you received a box and a flyer indicating a six-month trial of HP Instant Ink, but the setup is only offering a two-month trial, there are a few steps you can take to address the issue.

 

  • Check the Flyer Thoroughly: Make sure you carefully read through the flyer that came with the box. Look for any specific instructions or codes that might be necessary to activate the six-month trial. Sometimes, the pin number or activation code is printed on the flyer or inside the box.
  • Online Account: Check if there is an online account associated with HP Instant Ink. Log in to your account on the HP Instant Ink website and see if there are any options to input a code or activate a longer trial period. Sometimes, the trial might be automatically applied when you set up your account.
  • Verify the Printer Model: Ensure that the printer model you have is eligible for the six-month trial. Some printer models may come with different trial periods, and it's possible that the model you have is only eligible for a two-month trial.
  • Double-check Activation Steps: Review the activation steps you followed during the setup process. Make sure you didn't miss any prompts or options that could extend the trial period. Sometimes, the system may default to a shorter trial, and users need to manually choose the longer trial.
