Having a copy and paste issue I click on a website and it constantly wants to copy the the whole site I'm on, if I goto Fb and and  like a post it highlights the whole site in blue...All of my software is up to date I cleaned out my computer cookies and ran scans to make sure no virus...Any help would be appreciated. I do not use the mouse that is built in to my laptop I use a plug in I swapped out for a new one to make sure it wasn't the problem and it still does the same thing..Anyone have this issue..

@rebelnj

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand, you're in need of support,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824

(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

When was the last time it worked fine?

Were there any hardware/software changes made?

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

Let's try these steps to Turn off Click lock:

  • Go to Control Panel
  • Select Mouse
  • Under Buttons Tab, look for Clicklock
  • Uncheck "Turn on Clicklock"
  • Click Apply and restart your notebook.
  • Try working on the website and check the functionality.

Let me know how this goes,

Cheers!

If I have helped you resolve the issue, feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon below,

Followed by clicking on "Accept as solution" from the drop-down menu on the upper right corner,

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Forum.  Have a great day!
