Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Display software when run displays a message that says "HP My Display has stopped working"

And therefore says it will try and find a solution. Nothing happens. I just get the same message every time I reboot my machine.

To better help you we would need the exact model number or product number of your laptop/desktop???

Hi,

The Monitor was newly added as an Xmas Present....It is an HP 24es. Istalled the HP software from the CD that came with the monitor and checked for updates of which there were none.

The installation of Windows 10 was a clean install about 4 months ago and all updates are installed on release from MS. And it all runs well so far.

Latest Nvidea driver is also installed. GeForce GTX  460 21.21.13.7633

The desktop is a System Manufacturer Hewlett-Packard
System Model HPE-540me
System Type x64-based PC
System SKU LL359EA#ABV
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3401 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date AMI 7.15, 13/10/2011
SMBIOS Version 2.6
Embedded Controller Version 255.255

Hope we can resolve this problem.....

Yes - Version 1.0.0.0, date 17/11/2015 and it tells me when I do an update, that it is the latest version available and the best one to have.

That is the same for the Nvidea driver as for the My Display installation driver as well. (ie. the latest drivers).

It is very frustrating to get the constant message. It disappears of course when I delete the My Display installation.

Downloaded it.....ran it. Restarted the machine.

......Same issues and messages.

Looks like I will just have to live without it, or do a complete reinstall of Windows 10!!!!!!!
