For headless sender, you will need to create an xorg.conf file.  You can use the nvidia-xconfig command to do this.  Look at the xorg.0.log file to find out what ports are connected.  I find it easier to then attach an EDID file to the port that I have from a display that meets all of the resolutions that I need in the xorg.conf file.

Example below:

nvidia-xconfig -c /dev/null -o xorg.conf --custom-edid=DFP:/etc/X11/edid/ZR2440w.txt --connected-monitor=”DFP-0, DFP-2”

The EDID file needs to be placed in the same directory as the xorg.conf file /etc/X11.

I work on the behalf of HP.

I am an HP employee.

Have you tried updating your graphic driver?  We have two properties that may help with this issue as well.

1) Enable enhanced RGS resolution matching for Windows systems with Nvidia graphics

2) Rgsender.Compatibility.Displays.AllowNvidiaResolutionMatching=auto
