Hello,

Can someone advise me the best way to create a certificate to make the connection more secure?

Also any experience setting this up with a Home and office setup with separate networks? Do I need to use a VPN service or is there a way around this?

Thanks

With Remote Boost, you need to be on the same network.  So yes, you would need a VPN or a means to get the sender and receiver on the same network.  If you are able to ping the sender from the receiver, then you should be able to connect with Remote Boost.  I am not 100% sure, but I think CAS+ by HP Teradici can get you around this, but you would need to test this. You can acquire a trial license by clicking on Buy Now and filling out the form, making sure to request in the comments that you are looking for a trial.  https://teradici.com/products/future-of-remote-compute

The latest user guide did get revised for setting up a certificate.  You can use the one that Remote Boost sender generates or use one from a CA.  If you need further help, my suggestion would be to open a case with HP Support.  You can do this online via HP Support page https://support.hp.com/gb-en/contact-hp  click on Business Support, Create a New Case.  If you have an HP Z Workstation you can enter the serial number to proceed with the case creation or you can click the check box "My product does not have a serial number" and choose Remote Graphic Software to proceed.  You have to have a username and password created to create a case online, or call this number:  +44 2076600403
