Product: HP Z8 with ZCentral Remote Graphics Sender
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I kept losing mouse pointer over HP ZCentral on new Z8 win 10 (sender) machine (after no prob with win7 Z840 sender, same reciever machine) . Seems one fix is to run VMouseSetup.exe from install kit which docs claims to only be needed for "systems without a physical pointer device (for example, servers or blade workstations) on Windows 8 and later" ; but tried it anyway on advice of another post here https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/HP-ZCentral-Remote-Boost-and-Connect/RGS-Cursor-disappears/td-p/746094...: "fix" made it worse: instead of not seeing mouse cursor, after install of vmouse, the mouse cursor did nothing with left click; needed right click which sometimes would give options such as "open" but sometimes not. Pretty much down to keyboard only and doing a system restore to to try to fix it. Any ideas would be welcome as both not seeing mouse and needing both mouse and keyboard to click on things is UNACCEPTABLE. Thanks!
