Hi!
I have tried everything described in posts with similar title, but I am not able to get this fixed.
Whatever I try to do I always get:
(no idea why the image above does not show in the posted message, I have tried everything, sorry)
Here my specs:
Sender
i7-7990KF
ASRock Z390
nVidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super
Win10 1909 x64
nVidia Driver 457.30
RGS / ZCentral Sender 20.1.0.26348
Receiver
Win10 1903
RGS / ZCentral Receiver 20.1.0.26348
I have tried several different monitor layouts on the receiver, as for example:
1x 3840x1600 @ 75 Hz
2x 2560x1440 @ 75 Hz
none of my attempts has shown any difference in the behavior.
Besides this, the system appears to be working properly. We are ready to share information needed to address this issue. I hope that KellyRGS has an idea...
Thanks

Is your sender headless (no display(s) attached)? If so, the GeForce card will require either displays or EDID emulators. The property for making the sender headless in the rgsenderconfig file only works when the sender is Windows and has NVIDIA Quadro graphic cards. Will reach out in private email as I need more details and might require logs.

My sender is not headless.
In my tests, when I tried to make my sender headless, there was noway to have it working on GeForce cards (on QUADRO it worked properly), which is probably the next issue that I need to clarify.
If I am not mistaking on ZCentral RemoteBoost 20.1 support for GeForce cards has been added, at least concerning the AVC mode.
Since nVidia QUADRO is being phased out, and we are planning a relevant investment in HP ZCentral technology, we would like to clarify our options before proceeding with the invest. Therefore we are validating our options, including GeForce cards. Hopefully GeForce cards will be supported "entirely" and not just "with limitations".

Today I have done some further experiments also with QUADRO cards/drivers on the sender, whereby the sender was a "traditional workstation", and the same message comes.
Another user today has reported the same problem, on different hardware.
It appears that this is a quite hot point at the moment.
Will there be any reaction from your side? (I have already replied the private message to KellyRGS, but so far no reaction came. I would have no problems in posting my rgsenderconfig and my logfiles also in the public forum, if this helps other users to get the issue addressed

As KellyRGS already explained, the direct solution to this post is:
[GeForce]
"Senders with GeForce cards need to have at least as much physically connected display as the receiver" (so they cannot be "pure headless").
Physical display can be obtained with real monitors or with dongles, that does not matter, but as soon as nothing is connected to the sender card, nothing will be sent out any more. My experiments confirm this.
[QUADRO]
My attempts were happening with WQHD resolution on the receiver (2560x1440) which is by Murphy's law, not (yet) included in the standard EDID file supplied by HP in RGS. Once the sender is instructed of WQHD resolution everything started working properly in all scenarios (headless and not). In order to instruct the sender about a specific resolution there are 2 possibilities:
- connect the "still unknown display" to the sender. This will instruct it about the resolution and whatever will be done afterwards
- add the missing resolution to the configuration on one sender, export the EDID file (only possible with QUADRO cards and drivers) and import your new EDID file to the other senders. After that everything will work properly.
Be aware that if your sender is NOT headless, any attempt to match a receiver with a higher resolution than the sender's attached displays will fail, so be accurate in selecting your dongles.
My experiments confirm this as well.
Thank you KellyRGS, very valuable support!
