HP 6255 Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP 6255 printer.  When I turn it on, it automatically is "checking for printer updates" on the display.  It ultimately fails and indicates the "update failed to download."  From this point, the only option is to press ok, and then it "checks for printer updates" again, with the same result.  I did unplug it from the wall and tried again multiple times to no avail.  What can I do to get my printer to work?

Try update firmware from your computer- HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
