Product: HP Photosmart D5160
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My best friend passed away and his wife gave me this printer. I have Windows 10, so I downloaded the program and drivers. Every time I plug in the Power Cord and USB the printer seems like it's starting up but then it stops and the screen shows Err, green light at bottom continues blinking, the start stop button stays lit and the exclamation symbol stays red. I don't have any books or paperwork. My computer says it's connected. Have no idea where to go from here. I would appreciate any help.
