HP Tango
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Tango printer was in the middle of a print job when it stopped because it ran out of ink from the black cartridge.  I replaced the black ink cartridge, but my print job did not resume.  I had to redo my request.  How do I get my print jobs to resume after a change?  This has occurred before when it ran out of paper, I replaced the paper and again the printer stated "available" instead of resuming the print.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

Hope you followed these steps to replace the ink cartridges: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-tango-series/20486540/document/c06072585

That does not resume the print, it just turns on the printer as if the print job was complete but it was not.  How do I get the printer to resume printing?

HP Recommended

There is as such no option to resume printing unless you get a pop up screen on your Computer.
