@CPcountry7

Could you please help me with the operating system of the computer?

How is the printer connected? (USB / Wireless)

Meanwhile, I suggest you do a Hard Reset on the printer and update the firmware of the printer.

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.

(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Hello and thanks for the reply

My laptop is on Windows10Home, the Mayupdate

Printer originally on wireless but now also on USB

Carried out the hard reset and also carried out the firmware download

So far so good but only been 20 minutes!

I've printed the Harware info and it indicates the Error Code as B80E68BA - also shows 00F81D42 from same time period...

Follow the steps in this document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-officejet-6950-all-in-one-printer-series/9666193/document/c0...

If the issue persists, this could be a hardware issue with the printer.

I would personally suggest you contact our HP Support.
