New Envy 6220 Not printing in centre of page

Envy 6220 All-In-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Pages are not feeding in straight despite guides pushed correctly, and when it is straight it for no reason prints too high or too low on the page. No rhyme or reason why. Finally, if one page prints fine, the next will be guaranteed to be skewed as if the guides have been loosened between pages.

Have tried:

80 gsm

180 gsm

250 gsm

Single page in tray at a time

Multiple pages in tray at a time

Changing settings on app

Changing settings on printer
Single sided and fed through manually

Duplex

and all combinations of the above.

New Envy 6220 Not printing in centre of page

Hi @Greta_Delaland

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's try these steps -

1) Take out the cartridges.

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Wait for 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

If the issue still persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Have a great day!
