HP Deskjet 6540
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer HP Deskjet 6500 Series cannot be contacted over the network.

The device or resource (192.168.x.xx) is not set up to accept connections on port "TCP 9100".

Tried multiple resources. I have the correct IP number and model number and Serial Number of the computer.

Worked good until recently, maybe the updates.  Any suggestions?  Going to try changing the port and restarting computer..

I followed your instructions closely, but still could not print.

Then suddenly, three hours later, all on it's own, my printer re-set, and all is well.

Thanks,
