I want to get into making t-shirts but cricut printers are too much. I saw HP Iron On transfer paper for printers but I dont know if it would work with my printer; I have an HP Deskjet 2640 printer. Dont wanna take a chance and try cause it could damage the printer. Does anyone know if I would be able to use the Iron on transfer paper with my printer, has anyone tried to do this?

Forget about it, because the ink consumption will make you bankrupt. You will be able to print maybe 8-10 shirts then ink cartridge needs to be replaced.

You need to get yourself an ink tank printer, that can support paperweight of your HP Iron-on paper. First, check the weight of iron-on paper you intend to use, and check for printers specifications is that paperweight is supported.
