i have the hp office jet 8600 and i just went and got black ink and its saying the 3 other colored 1s are depleted is there any way i can still print in black? please any advise as i dont have the money for the colors right now n desperately need to print black

Sorry, the Officejet Pro 8600 uses separate printheads and ink supplies.  To print the printer will require ink in all the supplies, black and all colors.  The 8600 will offer to print in Black Ink Only if the color cartridges are sufficiently low, but if they are depleted completely they must be replaced to resume printing.
