Received error during setup after ink cartridges installed. Anyone know what this error means?

Its an ink system error, a physical issue with the printing system.  Check the cartidges, contacts and printheads on your printer.  Somewhere there is dried ink that is blocking the flow of new ink to the paper.  If you can find the clog and clear it then you will be good to go.  In most cases these errors require replacing printheads.

Check out the User Manual for your printer and try the cleaning/maintenance steps that are posted.

Hello,

I have an issue with HP Officejet X576. I was getting "Error in ink system pump". So I've bought a new printbar and replaced it. But that did not solve the issue - I'm still getting the same error. And now I can't enter MFG mode anymore. Do you have any experience with this issue, is there a solution?

Thank you for your time and answers,
best regards,
Ivan Arih
