HP Officejet pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have been trying to print double sided (duplex) and it’s not working. I have the options on setting etc and all are set to do it. But when it prints it just prints one sided.

Ive tried looking online for help but can’t find anything that gets it to work. It is a front paper load so it feeds in but it doesn’t go back in once one side is printed. And the laptop doesn’t come up with a prompt to manually feed the paper. So I am stuck. Anyone got any help or tips to get it working.

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

Install the automatic two-sided printing

▲ Slide the duplexer into the back of the printer until the unit locks into place.

Do not press the buttons on either side of the duplexer when installing the unit; use them only for removing the unit from the printer.

Update the firmware for the printer using the link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-8610-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5367603/docum...

Then restart the printer.
