Hp Officejet 7110

There's no option for A3 paper in the selection menu of my Officejet 7110.  On my previous laptop everything was fine.   It cannot be changed in the settings

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! After reading your post I see that you are not getting A3 paper size as an option to print. I would like to help you out with this issue today.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this printer is installed?

Meanwhile

You can create a custom size to print on A3 size paper.

If you are using a windows computer according to the link you posted above, follow the below steps to create a custom size.

  1. Load the custom-size paper into the paper input tray.

  2. Open the item you want to print.

  3. Click File, and then click Print.

  4. In the Print window, click Preferences, Properties, or Printer Properties.

  5. Click the Paper/Quality tab, and then click Custom.

       NOTE:

If you do not see a Custom button on the Paper/Quality tab of the printer properties window, skip to the section to Create custom paper sizes from Devices and Printers.

    Custom button in print properties

  6. In the Custom Paper Size window, click New.

  7. Type a name for your custom paper size, adjust the width and height to your preference, and then click OK.

       NOTE:

To change the dimensions to metric, click Millimeters.

Your custom paper size is now saved. You can select this custom paper size in the future and edit it if needed.

  8. Click OK, click the Paper Size drop-down menu, and then scroll down and select your custom paper size.

Custom paper size in drop-down list

  9. Make any other preference changes if necessary, and then click OK.

       NOTE:

Supported paper sizes vary by printer. If you input custom dimensions that your printer does not support, the new custom paper size does not display when you attempt to print. Check the printer specifications for your printer for more information on supported paper sizes.

  10. Click OK or Print to print the document.

You can refer this HP Document for more assistance:- https://hp.care/2LIrTtp

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.

Hello,

I'm here again, after confronting problem after problem logging in, I had to make a new profile, but hey, nobody said this would be easy.

I did manage to make the custom paper size, I also managed to change the preferences to this A3 paper size, but when you want to print something, the size resets every time to A4.

It's a windows 10 home edition.

I'm currently installing new drivers (for the second time).

I really need to be able to print A3 from photoshop, so please and thank you for helping.

Greetings,

Thomas

No, this is not helping.  If I install the firmware, the pop-up screen detects the printer, but when I click on the checkbox nothing happens, so I can't upgrade the firmware.  I can't check the box.

Thank you for your time and please help me, I need to print A3 from photoshop urgently.

I just printed in A3 from photoshop by some miracle, or maybe by your advice, thank you!

I will try it a bit longer and if all remains well, you made me happy!

Great news!

As @sandytechy20 is out of the office today, i'm replying to you.

I'm glad that the printer was able to successfully print A3 size paper from Photoshop. You have been fabulous to work with considering your superb technical skills and valuable patience. Kudos to you for that.

I hope your HP printer remains healthy for a long time and serves you well.

Happy printing! 🙂
