Enterprise LJ M725
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP models effected: HP Enterprise Laserjet M725

Issue: Few scan options (like scan to network folder etc.) shows a lock icon on the menu

When attempted to click on the icon to use - pops the below message:

This item is restricted. Try to use another account, or contact the system administrator or the person who set up this product

These MFPs are part of printing software named YSoft SafeQ. The issue is suspected to be due to Firmware and looking for a version 4.7.1 which is assumed to be a fix for it.

Can't find it online on HP support website as the latest firmware available for download is 4.7.0.1 which is already tried and failed to fix the issue.

Can anyone advice or help in finding the FW required.

Also please reply in case anyone faced a similar issue and what was the fix applied.

Depending on the model of printer, firmware will be one of the two. They were released at roughly the same time but the 4.7.1 firmware is directed at the A3 Entprise Laserjets not models like the M725. This error sounds like you have access control turned on through the embedded webserver on the printer but have not set the correct authentication method.
