I was printing a job today through my desktop computer and the printer started printing numerous copies of the same job. It wouldn't stop. I searched for solutions online and tried a few of them with no luck. I don't even see any print jobs in the queue for the desktop and on the printer itself. I unplugged printer, rebooted both printer and desktop and no resolution. Everytime I hit the "x" to cancel print jobs on the printer itself, it would stop printing, but then 2 minutes later, it would start printing the same job again over and over. I'm starting to believe that this printer is possessed of haunted! I can't even open the updated HP Print and Scan Doctor program. Please help. I'm wasting paper and ink with this problem!

Welcome to HP Support Forum. I think you need to remove the queue on your computer. Please try:
Hold down the Windows key and press R.
From the Run window, type services.msc and hit enter.
If the machine asks for Admin you have to accept this,
Look down to the print spooler service, right click it and select properties
Click on the Stop button,
Browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\printers or C:\Windows\System\Spool\printers (this may be hidden)
Delete the job inside this folder
Reboot the machine
Regards.
