HP Envy 4524 Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My wireless printer was working fine and showed several options in the onscreen menu but when I selected the option for OCR scanning, my pc onscreen message advised that I did not have the software for this - load via the CD. The CD was inconclusive and did not offer software update and now I only have the printer option of scan to desktop.

Several attempts to reload software are unsuccessful

Is there a factory reset for the printer?
