How can I scan from a Chromebook? If I can't via a Chromebook, do you have any other mobile scanning solutions?

Hi Trent,

Since there is no scan software available for Chromebook.

What you can do is that, you can use a feature called as Webscan. Please visit the link below which will show you how to perform a webscan using HP printers.

Even though the video is for Windows OS i'm sure it will work on your Chromebook.

Hi @Rashedalmet,

Thank you for posting your question in the HP community, a great place to get support and resolutions from experts in the community. I read your post about the computer fan making loud noises and overheating even when the unit is idle. It will be a pleasure to assist you!

Please perform a hard reset first.

Steps to do it:

·         Power down the computer and unplug the charger. Then remove the battery.

·         Hold down the power button of the unit for 15 seconds to discharge static electrical charges inside the machine.

·         Replace the battery and reconnect the charger.

Please visit these links to try and resolve overheating fan related issues.
