1025 fuser error

Device started getting fuser error out of the blue. New unit, about 1 year old.

Took all the cartridges out, then reseated them. No joy.

Finally I read in one of the HP docs that the black toner is linked to the fuser.

I replaced the black toner, and bam, error is gone.

It worked for me!  Everything I tried from the HP help page failed, but replacing the black toner cartridge seems to have solved the problem.

This issue isn't resolved!  I swapped the black toner cartridge and it worked for about a month.  I have two of these printers and they both have the same issue.  The first one died after a couple years and the second in under a year with less than 2 reams of paper passing through it.  Looks like my solution will be to buy another (non-HP) printer.  Pretty sad, I'd say.

We've been getting the fuser error on an color laserjet 3600dn. AFter reading this, I removed the black cartridge and reseated it. Now it's printing! Thanks

fused unit is sold for #15000 here in Abuja Nigeria... am hoping changing the black cartridge would be a lasting solution!!!
