Laserjet 1536dnf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, my Laserjet 1536dnf keeps printing one line of random hieroglyphs on each page when connected to a little LAN network (20PCs). Changed the drivers, IP address, updated firmware, scanned lan for viruses, resetted the printer, nothing helped. The pages are very hot when they are printed, id say unusually hot. When connected to a single PC it prints normally. There are 3 more printers in my network and they work perfectly fine. 2 of them are the same model as this one.

Most of the time it was a corrupted data causing this you can solve it by cleaning up the print queue.

Or, you can change another printer IP address or you can use USB cable connected.

hi , this needs to be a network printer, i changed the firmware and its IP address, but it still does the thing. I have 3 more printers in this LAN network and they are printing perfectly fine. 2 of them are the same model as this one. So changing IP address does nothing

Unplug network cable print from 1536 inner report or copy will it do the same thing?
If it does then you have a bad 1536 need ed to be fixed.

If not use a USB cable connects dirrectlt to pc to see if it print correctly, if it does change another network cable to see if it helps.

If it's not you need tofix your 1536.

But since you have many 1536s connected manu PCs, i still think that thers's one or more PC's printer queue needed to be cleaned up. You need to find it out.
