I printed a lot of enveloppes. Lines started over printing, and now I cannot get rid of them. They appear on everything I print

I have looked at the toner cartridge and the blue-green roller is clear. is there somewhere else I should look at eg is there a separate fuser that may have picked up some dirt?

Isolate the problem to the fuser or the cartridge area with the Halfway test:

However, if you only notice the problem after printing envelopes then perhaps the kind of envelope you are using is not a good fit for your printer.  Try printing on alternative envelopes and see if the same problem persists or not.

Envelopes can be constructed of many materials and thicknesses.  If your laser was not able to properly attract the toner to the envelope or bond the toner to the envelope then that would explain why the extra toner appears on the next jobs to be processed.

Did the half way test and it showed lines, so purchased a new toner cartridge.

Now fitted and printing is back to its best.

White line or black? If white then check the cartridge first see if something like piece of paper or hair get in the way.

Look down from top of cartridge there is a gap, bottom of it is drum, see if somethine between there, clean off that then it will be fine.
