My 4700 will not print from the color cartidges. The software was updated to Universal Printing PCL 6 (61.215.1.23029) UPD Version 6.6.0.23029. I've uninstalled, unplugged, reinstalled, and plugged the unit back in. Nothing is making any difference.
The diagnostic pages all come up blank when doing the Print Quality Troubleshooting Procedure, except for black. It started when the cyan cartidge was replaced, so I put the old cartridge back in and used on override for a little while and it was working fine. Then it started printing only black again.
I've been switching cartridges, updating the software, and installing and uninstalling the printer. Nothing is working. Please help. Thank you.

It is possible that a defective transfer belt can cause printing only in black.

Print Menu Map. Turn off power. Remove all toners. Power up printer. When printer ask for supplies, install one and close the door. Continue until all toners are installed. Reset printer to factory defaults. Run three calibrations. Print test page.
If problem continues, Go to the Diagnostic menu. Select "Disable Cartridge Check". Let printer come up ready in the Diagnostic mode. Print test page. Forward results.

The belt replacement may fix this issue. I have not seen this problem on the CLJ 4700, but I see the non-color isssue a lot on the CLJ 3000/3600/3800 series. I have replaced belts on CLJ 3800 printers and problem would go away for a couple of weeks and then return. I had to replace some of the cartridge latches. I hope belt fixes issue. Also, I have had some issues with remanufactured belts making a loud noise during calibration. If you can find a HP belt, it would be better.
